Presidents Day

Yikes... I lost my entire day yesterday to the stomach bug.. Not sure if it was something I ate or if my kiddies at school are learning to share like I keep telling them. Much to do today. I had promised my sister-in-law yesterday I would work with her to create the layouts for her grandsons high school graduation announcements so I need to fit that in today. Heading to ACMoore right now to spend my 55% coupon then I have the trainer at 11... Don't know if I have mentioned that since my surgery last April I have let 25 pounds land on my body and I am trying to make an honest effort to get healthy again.. I feel so much better when I am in the healthy range for my height. I refuse to believe that when you have a hysterectomy that you destined to gain weight. I know my weight gain has been more stress induced with family and work issues. Hope to have a craft picture to post later on. My mom wants a baby card so that will be first before I get back to creating more flowers.

okay.. I probably have about 75 or more flowers to make not counting leaves but this is my start.. I want the flowers 3-D no matter where you are sitting at the table.

Saturday

Not a lot of crafting this week.. I did complete 3 scrapbook pages that are mostly about the pictures using the pretty paper as backdrop..

I volunteered to make flowers to create centerpieces for a retirement dinner coming up... It is going to consume my crafting time for quite sometime. Hope to post a few flower samples later tonight or tomorrow.

Took the weekend off

I took the weekend off from crafting.. I spent lots of time with my nook.. This evening I have been working on cuts for a layout.. Nothing completed to show. I hope to turn the copic images I colored last week into cards tomorrow and Wednesday.. I hope everyone is having a great Valentines day! My children spoiled me :)

Sorry MIA

I have been MIA because I have had a good kind of school work to do.. 1/3 of my students tested out of my program... YEAH! A record.. I am doing a much more intense intervention program to catch my babies up that I learned in my grad class program of two years ago.. It has meant tons of paperwork to dismiss and tons of paperwork to look at bringing more students in for assistance.. All good things..

I did complete two pages of layouts by just adding the finishing touches....

My wind down time has been coloring with copics.....before bed. I will not post till I have them on a card and finished.

I did an Imagine and gypsy update tonight. All went well.. yeah.

I resolved my ebay issues.. the seller taymeag never responded to my emails.. Ebay ruled in my favor and put the money back in my account.. I ordered and got winter frolic for a few more dollars but a reputable dealer.. proudparents. They always ship promptly. Never had a problem.

I FINALLY got my cricut rewards order today.. I ordered before my circle membership expired.. I don't think I wrote why I did not continue.. Maybe this weekend. Anyhow after a few weeks of waiting I got celebrations today along with tie the knot.. I also got more screen covers for my gypsy..

The next purchase on my list is the bubblegum Imagine cartridge. Off to bed.. Not feeling 100%

layouts

Okay I got this green Bo Bunny paper and matching stickers at CKC last summer. After finishing the layout I have to be honest I don't like it. Too much red and glitter.. but I rarely take anything apart I just accept that at the time that is what I was feeling. The tree and present were cut using the free Christmas cart on the gypsy and the wording is the gypsy font.. The second page is also Bo Bunny paper from last summer.. My kiddies for me a Dyson canister for Christmas.. YEAH boy does it suck up the dog hair. I had a small Dyson ball but I wanted something with all the attachments. I have one more page to scrap and my Christmas photos will be done.

I think I mentioned this before but I am not sure. I learned my lesson with picking up specialty paper at events.. I need to pick up more than 2 sheets when it is double sided!!!

Oh the Happy Hour was a success!!! Lots of girl talk :) Off to do some school work before the super bowl this evening.

Okay I have been a little off for a few weeks now with some unresolved issues.. I think it is harder cause I realize HOW much I miss my really good friend that passed away in November cause I talked with her EVERY night and now I have nobody to blow off steam too. Any how I try to craft to relax and sometimes I go to happy hour with a few girls from work so tonight to cheer myself up I made 4 cards using the gypsy to plan a happy hour of girl talk. The cocktail glass is from the gypsy smiley card with a wobble on it. Cuddlebug Swiss dots with a random stamp from my collection. The inside is cut from Designers Calendar and All Mixed Up.
