Finally a whole night of crafting
I have just not had the crafting bug but tonight made up for it. I made 5 turkeys from create a critter for my school bulletin board. Last month I had five jack-o-lanterns sitting on a fence like the little jingle so I decided to leave the fence up and change it out with 5 turkeys. I will try and take a picture on Monday when I put them up. I cut them at 10 3/4 because that was the largest I could cut all the layers on a 12" mat. After that I made penguins for my daughters sorority bulletin board using create-a-critter. I was like didn't I cut penguins last year. I got the look. You know. Apparently penguins are some kind of something to the girls so they always use them in the winter bulletin board in the student common area for their sorority. Then I made little favors to place on everyones plate for Thanksgiving. I have been wanting to do something. Last year I cut little bags and put candy in them. I got the inspiration for this from My Pink Life' s candy holders. I used cosmo cricket paper and the turkey was create-a-critter cut at 2 inches and the turkeys actually look just like the ones I cut at 10 3/4 inches. I got the ribbon in the clearance section at Acmoore. I bought it because it matched the paper. I will slide a bag of nuts into the opening. I decided on nuts this year because my brother is diabetic and this will be something he can enjoy and eat for a change.

Wow! You have been busy! This turkey is way too cute! This will be a nice favor at your place settings. As far as my explosion box goes, go to http://paperpastime.com/ and watch Denise's video on cake in a box. She does a nice job in her videos. That is where I got the idea from.
