Been absent

I've been busy but also lacking crafting motivation lately. My mind swirls with ideas and I walk in the craft room and just lack whatever it takes to make it happen. With that said here are all the Easter cards that I sent out this year. The 2 using A Child's Year cricut cartridge I made multiples of. The cascading trifold I just played with paper last night and that was the result. The egg shapes were dies from MCT Happy Hunting.

Keep Smiling

Super duper busy weekend. I did get in my craft room briefly yesterday. I had to craft quietly.  It was my daughters weekend to work nights at the hospital and when I use my cricut or cameo she complains of the noise. I used  the heart-2-heart #12 stamp set from papertrey ink to make a couple of these. I left the inside blank so it could be a get well card or an I'm thinking of you card.

I was want to say that I think this spring ahead spring and fall behind fall should be abolished!! It is so hard to adjust the internal clock. I had to take a nap after school today. That means tonight I probably won't sleep. It's a vicious cycle.

NYC today

I went to NYC today for the Columbia university reading and writing project reunion. I am beat! Long day lots of information to take in! Dinner in mid town before coming home. With travel time it was like a 15 hour day! All I could think of was when I went to the fall one sandy was headed our way and I remember thinking nobody seems to be preparing! I had prepared lots at my house before I went and then again more prep when I got home. Today reminded me to be grateful that we had so little damage from sandy here.

I completed 11 smash pages this weekend. This is just one of those pages. I have to tell you that I love foxgram. I ordered my instagram photos on Thursday and they were here on Saturday! I used the cricut from my kitchen to make the stove and spatula.

pinterest inspired

I got the basic idea for this card from pinterest but I did change a few things up. Pinterest is a great resource when you just have the crafting block and need some inspiration. My son's 28th birthday is coming up in March. I used DCWV La Creme matstacks for the papers.

Worked on my smash/happy book for a few hours last night. Its almost caught up to date.

another hexagon card

Thursday night at scrapping I used my hexagon die from papertrey ink and DCWV Linen Closet paper and cut out six different color/patterns with the die. I then used all the pieces to make a bunch of cards. This is just one color combination I came up with. The hexagon on the top is from a creative memories punch and the stamp is from MCT.
