NYC today

I went to NYC today for the Columbia university reading and writing project reunion. I am beat! Long day lots of information to take in! Dinner in mid town before coming home. With travel time it was like a 15 hour day! All I could think of was when I went to the fall one sandy was headed our way and I remember thinking nobody seems to be preparing! I had prepared lots at my house before I went and then again more prep when I got home. Today reminded me to be grateful that we had so little damage from sandy here.
